This senior is extra special to me as she has been in my life since her own birth… she is family – literally. She is the daughter of my cousin- who used to sit me when I was little. I then sat for Landon (this beautiful girl) and now Landon sits for me. She is our “Lou”. She is a treasure to us. My husband and I laugh because we were dating when she was an infant; he was the only way I could get her to sleep. I could rock and hold her for hours with no luck; he could come in and have her at peace in just minutes. It is hard for me to believe she is graduating and going to college! I adore her spirit and her old soul. I look at her and see the little girl I have always known. World, she has no idea how beautiful she is or JUST HOW powerful those eyes are – they will take you over.
Lou – I hope you will go wherever you want in this life and soak it all up – like a great book. Never settle. xoxo

The best part of being a photographer is watching things evolve … especially the lives of our clients … especially when they happen to be family. I photographed Jessica’s wedding (she married my cousin) a while ago – it was perfection. We shot these images just weeks ago in anticipation of Little Boy Blue’s soon-to-be arrival. Just this morning, as I post this, they have welcomed their first born to the family! I cannot wait to get my lens on him! Congratulations guys!!! I love you all dearly.
P.S. Is she gorgeous or what!?! Glowing.
